Our vinyl is enhanced with antibacterial and antimicrobial treatments, UV stabilizers for protection against the sun, and a variety of additives that increase the material's resistance to mildew, chlorine, and bromine. Not chlorine or bromine resistant.   VIRGIN EPS FOAM CORES We only use VIRGIN BEAD FOAM, opposed to recycled foam, because it is much stronger though both may carry the same rating. 1.5 Lb density is standard, 2 Lb upgrade available. Some other companies claim they use 6mil so, if the price sounds to good to be true your probably only getting 1.5 mil or less. CHEMICAL RESISTANT Bottom We use DOUBLE laminated polyester 10 oz. spa liner or "scrim" on the underside of our spa covers. NO MESH! Our double laminated liner features drain and dry technology which increases your spa covers efficiency and further protects your cover investment! We also offer dual layer reinforced skirts on all cover models to help seal in your spas heat!   X The Other Guys* Cheap mesh or "reflective" material that deteriorates when exposed to chlorine and bromine.  Mesh leaves the cover's foam core unprotected from the heat and gas spas produce. REINFORCEMENTS Each of our cover models is reinforced with a non-corrosive 20 gauge steel c-channel in each half. Our Premium 6 to 4" cover model is double reinforced with TWO non-corrosive 20 gauge steel c-channel in each half!
